An old English proverb say that "tomorrow never comes". Its meaning is that when you are thinking to do something you sometimes decide to do it tomorrow and next day you what you cant do it today and decide to do it tomorrow, and that happens every following day until you forget that thing.
So this proverb's short meaning is that things what you leave for tomorrow, usually are never done.
